TA: Navigating copyright, fair use

Thank goodness for Martha Meacham on Navigating Copyright Issues: When Should We Be Concerned?   The author, a librarian at UMass, highlights the main points to consider when thinking about using copyrighted materials.

Meacham explains copyright, graciously provides the Copyright Flow Chart (right), and lists a number of free-use resources (NIH Photo Galleries, CDC Public Health Image Library, and U.S. Government Photos and Images).
