Save the Children emergency preparedness report findings: government and parents need to do more

The District of Columbia has again received the "unsatisfactory" rating from Save the Children (report cards) for failing to meet standard 4, having a multi-hazard plan for k-12 schools.   The District has received this rating since at least 2010.

Equally interesting is the national finding about the risk parents identify for their children in early childhood programs or school.

Also interesting is the finding from a national survey about how much parents know about disaster plans of schools/early learning centers.
