A little local history

Lesser-Known D.C. Monuments, Memorials, and Landmarks, a 15-mile bike tour of DC, will answer the questions "Why does DC have a Titanic Memorial?", "What's a boundary stone?", and "Is there a bronze statue of Einstein in whose lap I can sit?"   The tour, brought to you by Knowledge Commons DC (KCDC), will answer these questions and more about the many DC "under-the-radar treasures."   This and other KCDC classes are free.

Interested in Ward 6/SW history?   Sociology in My Neighborhood: DC Ward Six is a terrific resource.
