You can be a citizen scientist!

District Department of the Environment, Fisheries and Wildlife Division needs your help

collecting information about Peter Cottontail, um, Eastern Cottontail rabbits.   DDOE is monitoring the population of bunnies as part of the city's Wildlife Action Plan.   The Eastern Cottontail rabbit is a Species of Greatest Conservation Need.

You can help by becoming a Citizen Scientist.   As a Citizen Scientist, you will record your rabbit sightings and share them with DDOE biologists.   More information about the program and becoming a volunteer is available from Lindsay Rohrbaugh via email,
