The first freeze of the season and hypothermia alerts

NBC Washington projects DC's first freeze Wednesday morning with an even colder start to the day on Thursday.   This means that the Hypothermia Alert will be activated.   You may recall the alert is activated when the temperature/temp and winch chill hit 32 degrees F.   And when the alert is activated, people should call the Shelter Hotline (1-800-535-7252) when they see or come across homeless individuals and families.
