Everyone can play a role in engaging parents in the education of their children

You've heard by now that DC Public Schools has released the 2013 DCPS Parent Handbook.   The handbook is a terrific way for nonprofits of all kinds to engage clients whose children are enrolled in DCPS.   Front-line workers know, for example, that some parents need to address their own challenges with education, school, and learning before they can ever be real champions for their children's learning.
