Peer-reviewed papers on youth movements for social change

The Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, as an element of its collaboration with the Born This Way Foundation, has published numerous papers summarizing existing peer-reviewed research related to youth empowerment and organizing.   Examples of papers are The Value of Youth Organizing by Jerusha Conner, Youth and Social Movements: Key Lessons for Allies by Sasha Costanza-Chock, and How Participatory Action Research Can Promote Social Change and Help Youth Development by Cara Berg Powers and Erin Allaman.   The other research summaries are on the publications page of The Kinder & Braver World Project.
