Kale chips, perfect for Thanksgiving!

My elder daughter made Kale Chips some time back and they rocked.   They are easy and not so bad for you, perfect for Thanksgiving as a snack before the big meal or as a side dish.   So thank you, older daughter for sharing this recipe!


  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Remove the thick stems from the leaves and tear into bite size pieces
  3. Wash and dry the kale
  4. Toss with oil, salt, and pepper
  5. Spread kale on baking sheet. Bake until edges are brown, not burnt 10 - 15 minutes, longer if needed (We let the kale go longer, to a half hour, to get a nice crisp on them)
