Art and poetry contests for kids

DC State Fair has announced an art and poetry contest for young people.   The art contest is open to children in grades K-9 and the poetry contest is open to young people in grades K-10.   The deadline for submissions is August 31 and entering both contests is free!   Details here.

  1. Art and poetry contests are both very ideal to develop kids’ talent in graphic imaging and words. Through these contests, children will be more engaged in learning different techniques in drawing and poetry writing. Schools should conduct more contests like these.
