Marta Beresin, a staff attorney at the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, testified before the Committee on Human Services (Ward 6 CM Tommy Wells, chair) at June 25 public oversight roundtable on the "Status of the District’s Low Barrier, Transitional and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs."   In her testimony, Marta describes the current situation and offers the committee and the Department of Human Services, the agency with responsibility for this issue, specific recommendations to ameliorate the problems.
