A must read:   The Slow Cook's "Tales from a D.C. School Kitchen"

The Slow Cook's Ed Bruske is recounting these tales in a six-part series that begins today.   And what he found Day 1 was baked ziti, that even as an Italian in surname only sounds nothing like the baked ziti I am used to from the paisans in Middletown and Manchester, CT.   No matter, Bruske has sucked me in to this series.   You should read it, too.
