The DC Council will meet
January 2 at 1:00 pm in the Council Chamber for the CP 20 Organizational Meeting. Perhaps the most important action to be taken today is approval of the CP 20 rules. The rules govern public and elected official behavior and decorum (ok, they are supposed to), committee assignments, meeting notice requirements, and much more. You may recall that DCFPI on behalf of others made numerous recommendations to the council in December 2012 (see
