June 19 "Deconstructing Politics" lecture features CM Alexander

river east emerging eeaders (r.e.e.l.)'s next "Deconstructing Politics" lecture puts the spotlight on Ward 7 Councilmember Yvette Alexander.   The event takes place June 19 at 6:30 pm at the Dorothy I. Height/Benning Library (3935 Benning Rd NE; event is in the community meeting room on the lower level).

According to the event announcement, "Councilmember Alexander recently completed a tough primary election and has committed to a no-holds-barred conversation about challenges facing Ward 7; the latest political scandals; and women in politics."
