More 2012 election news

Keith Ivey does voters and DC stakeholders a great service with his "DC candidates 2012" list and the equally superb Twitter list of candidates.

Nonprofit VOTE is a fabulous resource for nonprofits interested in doing work around the 2012 elections.   The group just announced something new, "Voter Registration Toolkit for Nonprofits and Social Service Agencies."   The kit includes a 4-page outline of the principles of nonpartisan voter registration for nonprofits, reasons to conduct voter registration, and a guide to online resources.

Nonprofit VOTE also offers an online training, research documenting the efficacy of voter registration efforts, fact sheets and check lists, guides and toolkits, and more.

Special note: A free webinar, The ABCs of Nonpartisan Voter Registration for Nonprofits, is being held September 29 at 2:00 pm.   RSVP online.
