The proposed reduction to MHRS funding is so serious that I believe that is important for me to state, for the record for the executive branch, and for this Committee, what we calculate the impact to be. I have reviewed certified, audited financial statements for 63% of the eight largest MHRS private providers.

More about the April 12 DMH budget hearing
The Committee on Health (At-large CM David Catania, chair) is holding a hearing on the proposed FY 2012 DMH budget today at 10:00 am in Room 123. You can watch the hearing in person, on Channel 13 on your television or on computer using the Council's Granicus service.
