Networked Neighborhood is the result of Kara Hadge's study, "Networked Neighborhood:   Hyperlocal Media and Community Engagement in Columbia Heights, Washington, D.C."   On the site you will find a news aggregator/visualization tool powered by Dipity, a chapter on the history of Columbia Heights and Hadge's thesis examining "the use of hyperlocal media in one neighborhood to see if the potential for increased community engagement has been realized at such a micro-level."
