Mayoral candidate debate, July 29, sponsored by seniors group

The DC Senior Advisory Coalition Mayoral Candidates Debate on Issues Affecting Older Adults and Their Families in DC is scheduled for July 29 from 8:30 - 10:30 am at Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church (900 Massachusetts Ave NW).   A continental breakfast will be served at 8:00 am.

Why am I posting an event focused on older adults issues?   Well, almost 13% of children in DC live with a grandparent as head of household.   And many grandparents care for their grandchildren with little or no assistance from the parents.
