Did you know. . .
Did you know that when you spell out the rank of an officer in the Metropolitan Police Department, you only use their last name. Example: Assistant Chief Groomes. When you abbreviate the rank, you use full first (No first initial) and last names. Example: Cmdr. Robert Contee.
