When Healthy Food is out of Reach, March 16

DC Hunger Solutions and Social Compact are briefing policymakers, advocates, concerned residents, and the media on access to full-service grocery stores across the District of Columbia.   D.C. Hunger Solutions and Social Compact will present data, maps, and innovative new recommendations for closing the "grocery gap", particularly for low-income communities.

"When Healthy Food is Out of Reach:   An Analysis of the Grocery Gap in the District of Columbia" is being held on March 16 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm.   The event is being held at the Washington D.C. Economic Partnership (1495 F St NW).   Speakers will include Harriet Tregoning, Director of the Office of Planning and Dr. Pierre Vigilance, Director of the Department of Health.
