March 2 City Council activities

The City Council will hold a legislative meeting on March 2 at 10:00 am in the Council Chamber in the JAWB.   On the agenda are:

• The final reading on B18-449, "Foster Care Youth Identity Protection Amendment Act of 2010"
• The final reading on B18-647, "Fiscal Year 2010 Balanced Budget and Spending Pressure Control Plan Temporary Act of 2010"
• The first reading on B18-69, "Anti-Graffiti Act of 2010"

The next Legislative Meeting is scheduled for April 6 at 10:00 am.

Late on March 1, the office of City Council Chair Vincent Gray announced an additional legislative session on March 2 "to address the findings of the Bennett investigation of Council contracts and earmarks.   It will follow the regular meeting that starts at 10 AM."   The council estimates the additional session will start at 3:00 pm.
