Council to Mayor: Please send executive branch directors to 2/19 hearing

On February 9, City Council Chair Vince Gray sent a letter to Mayor Fenty requesting that specific administration officials appear to testify at the February 19 council hearing on FY 2010 spending pressures.   The list of agency directors whose presence is requested is extensive and the letter for the first time indicates that the City Council plans to be in the Council Chamber all day, from 10:00 am to 5:30 am.
