Sunshine is good for children says one attorney
Matt Fraidin, longtime advocate for low-income and otherwise marginalized DC populations including children and now associate professor at David A. Clarke School of Law, recently testified before the City Council's Committee on Government Operations and the Environment at the roundtable on "Improving Transparency: Open Government in the District." Matt asserts that DC Family Court proceedings must be opened to the public – that “sunshine is good for children” – because CFSA is failing children.
