Interim report on children and disasters published

The National Committee on Children and Disasters has issued the much anticipated Interim Report.   The report identifies shortcomings in disaster preparedness and response and recovery.   It also makes recommendations to prioritize children.   While prepared by a national committee, the report can inform DC's approach to addressing the special needs of children before and after crises occur.
