Young education professionals learn and network

Young professionals interested in education and engaged in various aspects of education (teaching, administration, research, training, higher education) will gather on September 8 at 6:30 pm for The Original YEP Generation event.   The event features a panel discussion featuring Craig Jerald, President, Break the Curve Consulting; Michael Petrilli, VP for National Programs & Policy, Thomas B Fordham Institute; and Jenn Vranek, Founding Partner, Education First Consulting.   These individuals will talk about the first Young Education Professionals-DC (YEP-DC) group, which they founded in 1999, and where they are ten years later.   The event is co-hosted by YEP-DC and the CityBridge Foundation.   A networking reception will follow.

Young Education Professionals is a DC-based network created for and by individuals who are relatively new to the education scene and are looking to meet new colleagues, peers and compatriots.   More information is available on the YEPDC Web site.

More information about the event is online; you may RSVP here.
