CM K Brown on adult job training

At-large CM Kwame Brown recently blogged about the new Community College's Workforce Development Program offerings.   DCist and I have also blogged about the FREE job training classes available to adults who are DC residents.   Note that the September 23 assessment previously advertised has been cancelled.

Courses include credential programs (such as Child Development Associate), computers, carpentry, and medical billing.   Information about registration and class locations is online at the Community College's Workforce Development Program Web site.

The course list is quite impressive for the first semester of operations by the new Community College.   So service providers (and everyone else), refer away!
