Children's budget sees the light of day

Better late than never, I guess.   The District's children's budget (CB), which DC Action for Children and I advocated for for-what-seems-like-ever, makes the Washington City Paper in a story about Republican refugees.

Too bad that picture was used for that story.   The CB idea held and still holds great promise.   The District's children's budget is on the way to becoming a useful planning and evaluation tool.   I will keep working with the executive branch to make that happen; AF is, after all, one of the original supporters of the DC children's budget (along with then Ward 7 CM Vincent C. Gray).
