Children's early learning will be hurt by UDC plans

Yesterday, the Council's Committee of the Whole held oversight hearings on UDC and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education.   Both play a role in early childhood development in the city.   UDC, as previously mentioned on this blog, plans to eliminate the undergrad education major.   I have weighed in on the issue; read the memo I submitted to the Chair.   Others, like Pre-K for All DC are paying close attention to this.
