DHS increases Food Stamp allotments

The Department of Human Services has just announced that effective April 1, Food Stamps will increase for "categorically eligible households" of one or two people.   According the the IMA policy manual, "Categorical eligibility for FS applies to households whose members are all current TANF and/or SSI recipients."   More information in the policy manual or by contacting Richard Walker in the IMA Policy Unit, richard[dot]walker[at]dc[dot]gov.
